So what happens when you sit and draw with a six year old?  He asks you to draw a lot of animals!  First he asked me to draw him a penguin and a monkey:

I've been on a comics hiatus of sorts, to work on other projects including a few different series of children's books.  Here's a sample pic from one series that I am about to send out to agents and publishers:

Redbird and Bluebirds' tales will help teach kids the value of friendship, how to meet and keep friends, and how to have tons of fun with them!  Let's hope a publisher picks them up soon because I have a whole bunch of story ideas for these two!
